Laboratory

Eight logbooks: raw material intake, pasteurisation, homogenisation, finished product, deviations, cleaning, reagents and instrument calibration. Entries are numbered automatically and cannot be edited once approved.

  1. 1The technician records the readings in the logbook for their shift.
  2. 2The laboratory manager approves the entry and it becomes read-only.
  3. 3Reagent expiry dates and instrument calibration dates raise reminders on their own.

Laboratory decision holds intake

Raw materials cannot move into production until the laboratory has issued its verdict.

The data shown in the screens below is fictional.

Laboratory

The laboratory's eight logs, the reagent store and the instrument register in one place. An entry is written, the lab manager approves it and the entry is locked.

  • ✓Select a log, filter by date and result, and open an entry with 'View'
  • ✓Write a '+ New entry' — the log's own fields, the overall result and additional notes
  • ✓Change an entry that has not yet been approved with 'Edit'
  • ✓Close an entry with 'Approve and lock'
  • ✓Add a new reagent to the 'Reagent store' (lot, quantity, use-by date, storage conditions)
  • ✓Add a new instrument to the 'Instrument register' and keep its calibration dates

Shift

Browser-based shift recording for laboratory staff: 'Clock in' and 'Clock out' with one button from the phone. The record must be made on factory premises — the browser asks for location permission.

  • ✓See your current state — whether you are on shift or not, and since when
  • ✓Start the shift with 'Clock in'
  • ✓End the shift with 'Clock out'
