Approving a new version archives the previous one, so a recipe cannot be altered retrospectively.
Finished goods are booked in by the case with a production date and an expiry date derived from the recipe.
The operator photographs the instrument display, and the system recognises the reading and enters it against the process stage.
Closing a batch is protected against a repeated click and against two people working at the same time.

All the batches of mix (semi-finished product) preparation: planning, starting, recording problems and completion. When a batch is completed, the raw material in the recipe is written off from the selected warehouse lots.
